Description
The fibers, non metal central loose tube fiber optic cable, 250µm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus material. The tubes are filled with hydrate-resistant tubing. A water-blocking material is applied to the loose tube to ensure the longitudinal water-blocking of the cable. Two parallel GLASS fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) are placed on both sides of the cable and then the cable is extruded with a polyethylene (PE) sheath.
